AME Course Details
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course is a great career option for today's generation. It is an internationally recognized program approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. The course focuses on maintaining aircraft, including engines, airframes, landing gear, and fuselage. AME professionals are responsible for ensuring the safety and proper functioning of aircraft. AME Course Duration
The duration of the AME course in Alpine Institute of Aeronautics, Dehradun is 2 year’s regular academics program and 2 years of practical training in airline or MRO industries. On practical training, students get stipends. The stipend will be around INR 15,000 to 25,000 per month. During the academic program students have to complete modules which are conducted by the DGCA.

License B1:- B1 license in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course in Dehradun is further subdivided into the following categories which are as follows:-

AME + B Sc. (AME)
It is an integrated course, both the courses run in parallel in which the students can get AME license as well as B Sc. (AME) degree. The AME course is approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India and B Sc. (AME) syllabus is designed and structured by DGCA and approved by the Ministry of HRD for imparting B Sc. honours in AME.
The students can apply for Government official posts, Airlines, MRO and other posts where AME can apply. They can also pursue PG courses in the various courses of management and technology.
AME + B Sc. (AME) Course Duration
Candidates have to undergo tentatively 3 years regular academic program for an AME license as well as B.Sc. (AME) degree and tentatively 2 years training in the flying environment such as Airlines, MRO, etc. In the academic program students has to complete their module papers conducted by DGCA.
After completion of modules, B Sc. (AME) exam and required experience students will get AME License and B Sc. (AME) degree. On the basis of AME License students can do the job as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in government as well as private sectors worldwide.
